Let me drive the 5.0 down the drag strip just once Steve. I'll probably set a record time in that first run. We all know what's gonna happen after that first run though |

ive noticed recently that poor people have strong association with nissan as being a 'cheap car.' like someone that knows nothing about cars would point out nissan is a nissan aka 'cheap car'....and they would be amazed my 370Z was a nissan, not infiniti. i, as a lot of folks here, have cash to buy a brand new 'cheap nissan' 2012 GTR (which i dont plan to buy).... can the poor do the same? i dont see the connection there. |

You'll be the first person ever to stall trying to shift into 3rd gear.

I will forever be a nissan guy, it was pretty much my first love and my door way into performance cars....although my first cars were hondas :/ but amongst all the soup of brands readily available to the average consumer, i dont think anyone really stands out....i love all cars....thats just the car guy in me

Thank-you. The z06 is completely awesome and over the top for a toy. The interior and fact that the 370 handles nearly as well for a lot less are what have swayed me.

My friend's dad has a newer Z06 with the ultimate Z07 package which is the only Z06 Ive driven. For a stock Z06, it is incredible & much smoother driving then the Z. Ive heard driving a Z06 is a learning experience, as its alil tail-happy due to high torque/low weight. When I buy mine I want to go to the spring mountain driving school in nevada, as I want to improve my skills as a driver.

IC. Just some food for thought. you say you get used to speed/power, so you might as well just switch to a car that you like more overall. But just like you get used to speed and power you also get used to any other aspect of a car. The things that excited you about the z06, now don't really do it for you anymore, and the things that excite you about the 370z and make you want to switch, will eventually do the same.
Once you come to the realization that you will eventually grow tired of what excites you about any car, you might as well just stick with what you have... especially if its a z06... thats a pretty awesome car. just my Last edited by Jeffblue; 10-27-2011 at 12:02 PM. |
