Default for those who drive FI'ed Z as a DD

As the title says, for those who drive FI'ed Z as a DD and your only car, what's your plan if your car breaks down due to FI malfunction/overheat/etc..?
1. Get a cheap DD because you are low on cash
2. I've got a backup plan such as I can buy another Z whenever I can
3. oh snap....

p.s. I've done 3 bolt ons, coilover, oil cooler, rims, and bunch of minor mods, so I would say I have nothing else to do but FI
The reason why I am asking is that even if I get an M3, I wouldn't be happier with the performance for the price I will be paying than compared to FIing Z.And personally I think my Z looks better than a stock M3... plus I wouldn't want to waste money I've spent so far

Build the motor.
Preparation is your best thing: Good tuner/tune, upgraded supporting mods (radiator, proper oil cooler, other coolers for auto), proper maintenance of parts to improve longevity.

Never FI'd the Z, but I daily'd a heavily modified car for quite a while.

I always tried to have a second, reliable car. I made sure I had enough friends that could drive me around, and I made sure I had ~10k ready to drop into the car at the drop of the hat.

Rookie question here -

FI = Forced Induction; i.e. turbocharged or supercharged?

Stillen has some sort of warranty I think. 30k miles if I'm not mistaken.

Costs extra and isn't exactly fast enough to help short term.

I agree with this, especially the extra cash.
I have randomly dropped money on things, most of which I had planned on spending in the future but most come much much faster than you realize.

My car is my daily and only car. When my car was in/out of the shop previously, I used my mom's car. Now I'm hopefully going to have time to build the motor on the side and just take a weekend to swap it in. I don't have room for a beater and would rather spend that money on the motor anyways.

I'm at 45k at the clock with GTM S/C. No issues here other than a few oil leaks. Daily driven. My plan is to bike to work if it breaks down
