wait.... so the instructor does the shifting?

After watching the teaser video again, it looks like they used left hand drive and right hand drive cars. My guess is they used automatics for right hand drive cars. I could have sworn I saw a "P" when on the cockpit gear display during a "rev" shot last night.

I could have sworn that during the show I saw the steering wheel on both the left and the right at different times, wasn't really sure what was going on there.

I saw the "P" on the instrument panel too, then i remembered seeing the picture posted by MC at the beginning of the show.

OMG! One of the guys on the show is from my (and Tony Stewart's) hometown. That's cool.

Looking at the details of the cars on this website, it seems the 'stock' Z is right drive automatic and the ZCUP race car is left drive manual.

Interesting show so far though would like to see them driving more and running/biking less :tiphat:

Watch the Continental Tire Series race this weekend and you'll see one of them driving. He was awesome. Qualified 12th out of 39.

Yeah Bryan did great in qualifying, out qualified his teammate Mike by a 1/10th of a second! Too bad he spun and got hit in the race, he was doing well.

c'mon gt academy...

WHY did gt academy add this 1960's v8 sound track to the gtr going around the track. it sounded like a crappy bullitt chase seen knockoff when i was watching it... this thread is pointless i just had to vent

MC 09-28-2011 12:41 AM

glad you noticed it too.. was about to asking anyone if they heard it

FAIL

Agreed.
I really hope this show gets better... not impressed so far. Short clips of actual racing diluted by too much worthless crap and commercials. But I guess thats what reality tv is.

They should have just mentioned the endurance kart racing to the audience instead of actually making us watch it lol.
