It's going to be the first thing I do next week when I get mine. The Vegas dealer doesn't do an install, so I have to wait until I get back to Phoenix and find a reputable installer.

Probably going to do front bumper, 1/3 hood, headlights and fenders up to the line on the hood.

I paid $600 for full front bumper, 18" strip on hood, side mirrors, and 8" on QP behind the front wheels. The one thing I would suggest is make sure the paint is 100% swirl/blemish free before having it installed. After it is installed I would just be sure when waxing the car, when waxing go from ON the bra area onto painted surface so you dont get wax buildup on the leading edge of the bra.
Agree exactly with everything above. Got mine put on before I drove the car a single mile and three years later the front still looks showroom now (as does the rest of the car, too Best investment you can make for your Z, especially considering the thin paint Nissan gave us. Should cost about $800 for professional application.

I have always been a fan of them. However, we have pulled it off of my wife's Z4. I don't know if its because with my two jobs I don't regularly take care of the paint work and leave it to the car wash people, but the whole clear bra lost its gloss and looked terrible. We still have it on the front bumper (for now), but removed the hood and headlights.

I would have done it if all the shops I called didn't want 3k to do the full front end.

it is worth it if you dd your car, or drive on hwys where prone to pebbles and rocks.

if the clearbra is installed correctly, it should be nearly invisible to the eye.

if you have patience you can install pre-cut ones too.

I have a couple on my bumper and two on my hood. Very ugly. Nissan paint/clear coat sucks

where's a good place to get these installed? can the dealership do it or are you better off going to a body shop? and how long is the typical installation time? hours or days?

you can get a body shop do it for you there is one near my house they quoted me 500 and 2 days.

I thought of one when I first got it, but then with almost all highway miles I barely have any chips so im gonna rock with the clearbraless look.

I had a mobile service come to my house and do it my garage while it snowed outside! They set up portable heaters and everything. I told them my car doesn't leave the garage from 12/1 through 4/1!
They charged about $850 and did the whole front bumper, front half the hood, mirrors, etc. They took a good 4 hours. Very pleased with it all. Even now, three years later, the ClearBra (to the extent you can see it) and the car still look showroom new.

Default Clear Bra - is it worth it?

I have a 2011, and I recently repainted the front . . . I have heard some discussion of a clear bra. Is it worth the investment? Do they look OK?

Yes, best money ever spent on a mod. Not really noticeable unless you are looking for it.
