It's going to be the first thing I do next week when I get mine. The Vegas dealer doesn't do an install, so I have to wait until I get back to Phoenix and find a reputable installer.
Probably going to do front bumper, 1/3 hood, headlights and fenders up to the line on the hood. |

JM .02 cents. I personally am NOT having the same PQ issues on my 11 that i had on the 09 BS. the 09 chipped for nothing. Right now i have minor scarring on 3 areas of my front end that are more noticeable by feel than by sight. My GM paint is pretty durable considering how and where i drive.

I have always been a fan of them. However, we have pulled it off of my wife's Z4. I don't know if its because with my two jobs I don't regularly take care of the paint work and leave it to the car wash people, but the whole clear bra lost its gloss and looked terrible. We still have it on the front bumper (for now), but removed the hood and headlights.

if the clearbra is installed correctly, it should be nearly invisible to the eye. if you have patience you can install pre-cut ones too. |

where's a good place to get these installed? can the dealership do it or are you better off going to a body shop? and how long is the typical installation time? hours or days?

you can get a body shop do it for you there is one near my house they quoted me 500 and 2 days.
I thought of one when I first got it, but then with almost all highway miles I barely have any chips so im gonna rock with the clearbraless look. |

They charged about $850 and did the whole front bumper, front half the hood, mirrors, etc. They took a good 4 hours. Very pleased with it all. Even now, three years later, the ClearBra (to the extent you can see it) and the car still look showroom new. |

Clear Bra - is it worth it?
I have a 2011, and I recently repainted the front . . . I have heard some discussion of a clear bra. Is it worth the investment? Do they look OK?

Yes, best money ever spent on a mod. Not really noticeable unless you are looking for it.
