No issues with cops here. I did get pulled over doing 70 in a 45 (just came off a highway off ramp) and he let me go. There have been many reports of 370z owners getting a thumbs up from the cops. I really don't think you have anything to worry about my friend.

Not getting a car based off of attention you think you would get from police seems silly to me unless you're selling drugs or something along those lines.. lol. Just get a car that you think will give you the best driving experience. Dont get an STi UNLESS its the '11 or GD series, and the Evo X MR's dual clutch does get a bit annoying if you go that route. a 135i would also be a good choice if you need to fit toddlers in the back (seats not trunk..) from time to time.
test drive STI '11, 370z, Evo X, 135i. You won't be disappointed in any of those. Also.. the wing on the STI and EVO can be removed.

Yea, not doing anything shady...just not into having a car that gets profiled all of the time. In college had a bright red 4x4 pickup, that must have been followed 5x days a week. The look of the 370z intrigues me. I will schedule a test drive. My wife is interested in the Audi A4 quattro. |

I have a nismo and get a lot more looks and attention than I ever expected, but it's good attention, not 'are you a troublemaker' attention. Provided it's not reckless, I think in my area it's often easier to get out of tickets in this car than something more boring because a lot of officers like sports cars and understand.
