2012 Model Will Have OIl Cooler

According to Motor Authority, the 2012 370Z will come with an oil cooler.

2012 Nissan 370Z Pricing Starts At $31,450

Then I'd assume they'll be doing a recall to add oil coolers to our car.

Why would you assume that?

Ahhhhh yes

I don't expect an oil cooler to be comp'd, but it would be cool if they would allow dealers to install new OEM coolers that would be covered under warranty.

Have to look at the whole package, really. I mean, first it has to be compatible with older models. That means they'd have to cram it in there in some way that they could do so on older models. That may not be the case. Second, the Nissan cooler might be more expensive than an aftermarket one. Third, if the stock cooler is cheaper or at equivalent cost, it may still be worse than aftermarket solutions.

So, I'm glad there's finally a Nissan OEM cooler, but we'll have to see how it compares with existing options.

I live 40 minutes from there, and the only time I got it "hot" was on zdays 2010 in 90* weather and that was after the car was on for nearly 4 hours straight (had to drive in through cherohala, and then down the dragon due to rockslide) and it only got to 260*.

I would hit my dealership for one for sure.

At 97-99 degrees, I hit 260 with my oil cooler at the track.

Without one it was easy off track to hit 260 in 70 degree weather.
