for what you are getting, they're pretty cheap. full race car builds are stupid expensive if you are paying out of pocket. if you are doing it yourself yea you will come out better buying a regular one. but if you want a turn key race car, they simply cost this much. a porsche cup car, another example of a factory turn key race car built to spec, will run you $250-300k

So many people in here don't understand the cost of racing... Best way to make a small fortune in racing is to start with a large one
