Not even my old lady drive my car and I hate it if I have to take take to the stealership.

Aside from the dealership personnel, the only person I'd let drive my car is my old man. He lives in New England and I live in California though, so really I'm the only person I let drive my car.

I've let friends and family drive my car. Who I worry about are the valet attendants and dealerships who don't really care about what happens to my car.

She was freaked, she learnt the lesson, but please don't/can't blame her, afterall, she is the lady who has your whole respect.

Unlike those 'somebody else', I bet your mom would feel extremely sorry if your car got damaged at her fault and she would pay for the damage if she can.

cheers

I can't see either of my folks ever wanting to drive my car. I will switch rides with buddies that have new Sti, Evo X, etc. though for cruises some days just for fun. You know they are used to stick in a high performance car, and neither of you wants to mess up the other guys ride.

My rule, if you're my friend and you already drive stick on a daily basis you can take it for a ride. My parents haven't driven stick in years either. I let my dad move it around in the driveway if he needs to get it out of the way, but my mom knows she'd mess something up so she's never even asked. Now a couple of my friends asked if I'd teach them how to drive stick when I first got it. I just told them this is not the car to learn on, but I'd be happy to when I got a beater for work.

Yep, I know she was probably really scared about hurting my car, there's no way I'd yell at her or anything. I just played it off like it wasn't a big deal. Sucks, but I'm not gonna be a d*ck and make her feel bad.

She carried you in her womb, you made her throw up all the time with morning sickness, etc., you very slowly came out of a tiny opening, you cried all through the night, raised you, ect etc ------- Let her do whatever she wants to your car ;)
