Parking etiquette

went to the movies and maybe two cars in the entire parking lot. so i picked a spot up front. even got farther on the yellow stripes just incase it got busy and someone had to park next to me. well it didnt get busy and yet some jerkoff had to park right up my ***. seriously he was about 4 inches from my bumper. so i took this pic to share.

I wonder what that child will look like?

I would have left a note saying something like:

"Since you parked so close to my car I had no choice when I left that scratch on your car. I would have left my information but I could not get into my trunk because of you."

^^^ hahahahahaha

over here, i've seen ppl write, learn to park properly on a piece of paper on the windshield

When I park I tend to park next to cars that don't look all jacked up no matter how far. My wife hates it! Sometimes when I park away from everyone else and no one around me, I'll find a beater next to my car when I get back. Ppl just like to mess with other ppl when it comes to things like that. Haters! LOL!

I've never done it, but i have to admit, i always think of keying cars that do similar things to me.

Never failed when I had my 350Z I would park 6-10 spaces away from everyone else walk the extra 30-60 feet into the store and I could be in there for no more than two minutes and someone would always be parked right next to me. It wasnt a once or twice thing it was a everytime I took the car out type thing.

If it starts happening to my 370z I will leave orange parking cones in my trunk and put them in the spots to my rear and sides. Let someone run one of them over or move them. I will take a steaming dump on their hood. :roflpuke2:

Cant fix

Folks.......Ron White said it best. YOU CANT FIX STUPID But your senario isnt the one that scares me.................its the sorry *** parents who dont pay attention to their 8 year old that swings the door open and slams it into other peoples cars that I worry about the most.

1 of 2 things happens to me.

#1 the most hated thing. A stupid clunker junker is parked right up on me.

#2 The okay thing. Corvette, Mustang, 350z parked next to me becuase we all have the same idea lol

I don't get why people like to be jerks.

I find that if you park in a far off secluded spot, people notice your car and for some reason like to park next to it.
I personally look for end spots next to curbs or dividers so I can hug one side.

I prefer to park near other nice cars, instead of parking alone in the middle of nowhere. If you park isolated, you're taking risks on who will park by you. Park next to another nice car that looks well-maintained, and you know both of you don't want door dings and respect the other guy's car. It's a win-win for the both of you.

Definitely. And you can only hope the guy you park near understands that is why you're doing it - not trying to hate on them or show off.
