For 2012 they'll have a "370Z Nismo R-type" that comes with giant stickers on the windshield, rear bumper, and the lower half of the doors that say NISMO R-type, along with some random Japanese characters that probably mean "Fresh Shrimp". It will also include neon undercar lighting, 22x8 inch wheels made of solid iron, a 40 inch tall spoiler, and a fake intake scoop on the hood.

Dam I knew should have waited...

Hopefully this just means the OP is looking for a 2012 model. If this turns into a whole hypothetical changes thread with speculation about turbos, V8s, mid-engines, and hybrids, someone please pummel my head with a sledgehammer.

:icon18:

Wait, wait - did you say a mid-engine hybrid? Holy Sh#t! I'm cancelling my 2012 GT-R order right now. :happydance:

Zemurray 09-30-2011 09:18 AM

give the guy a break. He's just a Z lover hoping for new coolness. To the OP, it has already been announced that there will be no significant changes to the 2012.

Gauge 09-30-2011 12:54 PM

Heard they increased the engine size by 1 cubic inch. Giving it a half a horsepower more. Sporty indeed!

You are one year late with that one. That happened in 2011. For 2012, Nissan is claiming another new 1st time technology to the Z. First it was VVEL and SRM. Now for 2012, Nissan has built the first All New Reverse Twin-Turbo system. nissan said since they can't be the fastest going forward. They want to build the first car that can go 0-60 in 4.4 seconds in reverse. The Z will also be the first production vehicle to be able to do 90mph, in reverse. You can read all about it in;

www.reverse-turboZ.com

How hot is that?:tup:

How about, we stop all this wild speculation, and wait until it is announced one way or the other.
