Default Did I get a good deal?

Folks,

I won this 2009 Touring + Sport model on eBay this evening.

Nissan : 370Z | eBay

I paid about a thousand more than I wanted to. Did I still get a good deal? I was all set to buy new for around $36000+DMV fees so I'm saving around $9285 buying this 2 1/2 yo car with 10000 miles. I haven't seen the car yet but if you believe his text, it's in pristine condition.

I always doubt my decisions. It's a character flaw!

Sounds like a good car and well taken care of. Now I'm not familiar with eBaycar buying or private selling but do you have to pay tax on the car or just 27k straight. Funny, I was looking at that auction earlier randomly on eBay and you bought it. Congrats

Thanks LakeShow. When I register with the DMV, they'll be looking for $2259 - https://www.dmv.ca.gov/FeeCalculator...VehicleForm.do

I would never buy a car on ebay but I'm sure it works out a lot of the time. Best of luck to you.

The offer as a whole is a good deal. But for $1500 more you can get a cerified pre-owned that's warranteed and without the risk of being scammed for over $27k. I wouldn't trust some shmuck selling his car on ebay who expects me to pay without even seeing or test driving a car. Too risky.

Sounds good. I'am leary of buying somthing that major on line. Like the idea stated earlier about buying pre cert for $1500 more.
