there's no denying the Power difference between the Z vs the Stang, in the "affordable Sports car" category. on paper from just a power stand point the Stang stands alone.

there's no denying the Power difference between the Z vs the Stang, in the "affordable Sports car" category. on paper from just a power stand point the Stang stands alone. with 400 plus stock HP vs the Z's 332 stock HP, to each of their own they are both very good Sports cars, for me it was a matter of i guess... feel, the look. how i felt when i sat in the car.. did i feel lik i was in a sports car? exc.... i test drove the 5.0 and the Z and the 5.0 power wise omg so sweet. lol. but from the overall sporty LOOK ..... i just felt the Z had it. i felt like the Z was just Calling to me, unlike when i sat in the Stang, although it had the power (boy did it ever lol) the Z was calling to me JUST a little more. and im very VERY happy with Ironhide. (yes i named my car after Optimus Primes right hand man, want to fight about it? haha )

The Miata is a better buy than a BRZ unless you need a back seat |

Agreed. I was going on the power/handling aspects of each compared to the other and not really going for any sort of accuracy.

The z is a true sports car. I tried sitting on a mustang gt that is and it feels like sitting on a performance sedan but as soon as i sat on the the Z there is no looking back. Plus the thing i don't like about stang is that they have the cheaper v6 model which makes the car so common , you can almost see it in every stop light while the 370z is exactly the opposite of that. I'm not driving an exotic car but it sure feels like it. |

I have a 5.0 and a S2000. I believe the 370Z bridges the gap between the two. It's not as powerful as the 5.0 and it's not as precise as the S2000. Instead it's somewhere in between. You get more of a sports car feel than you do in a 5.0 and more grunt than you do with an S2000. It's a happy compromise.

Did you get extra track pack? I thought there were a few options to pick from, but is that available on the convertible? curious if you will get chassis flexing on the beast with that much HP and no roof when you light it up. If I were to get one, I would go for the school bus yellow Boss, or wait till 2014 when the all new one comes out with a honest independent rear suspension.

this is the exact way i feel as i walk towards the Z no matter where im at and despite the few 2.0 Turbo red Genesis guys that fly out of nowhere into (nearly) my bumper.... i get head nods, classic Z stories and big thumbs up i even had this girl must've been 16-17, fling open the door to her (im guessing dads truck) and whip out her camera phone , run over to my car and proceed to snap pictures, all the while saying "OMG............OMG.....OMG.." i dont care if you drive a Z or a pinto. when you get a reaction like that from someone, you get a boost. despite age. The Z is just awesome. just.... just.... awesome...
