I pretty much just leave my Ti key on my keychain for my DD, and have a normal key with the remote for my 300zx for if i actually take the car out. I just keep the Ti key as a keychain and like to have it handy if i need to get something out of the car on the way out of the house.

I wanted a 300zx since I started driving, but insurance was just to much for me at the time, and then later on I really liked the 350's.. but I wasn't that much older when they came out so I couldn't afford one. Later on I went the AWD route with the Evo's that I had. I got tired of all of the modding on my second one and wanted something NA and since the Z doesn't have that many mods for an NA set-up it was perfect. So for me the choice was easy to go with a new one.
So now I have a Z with ART pipes, F.I. exhaust, I will get some used G3's and then when Motordynes intakes come out, I will likely go with them, some pulley's ... I don't think i'll go with the 4.08 gears to keep mileage semi decent now.... anyway, not to many mods and that will do it for me... a 12.5-12.7 capable car is good enough for me. |

I love the 300ZX. One of my favorite cars from when I was a kid... it just looked so cool and futuristic.
And that damn commercial! The twin... turbos... kick.... in!

What is it with reviewers and the so-called headrests. Those things behind your head are "headrests" in name only. They are not designed as pillows for you to lean back on as you drive. Your head is not supposed to be in contact with it when you drive. It is designed to prevent neck injury during an accident ... jeez ..

My 370z is lowered about 1 or 1.5 inches and my 300zx is lowered 1.5 inches up front. i scrape WAY more in the 370z. i almost never scrape in the 300zx. Granted, i'm really only scraping the sports package chin spoiler, but still.

Working where I do....I get to drive both daily. Between me and my fiance we own 3.5ish (lol). So I have seen the extremes in both model cars.
I love the the 300zx since it is what I own and came to love the most. I wouldn't necessarily SELL my 300zx's for a 370Z (yet). But given the chance, I would definitly have a 370Z in my garage. The 370Z is by far a MUCH better handling Z over the Z32. Which it should since its 20+ yrs newer. I think the 370Z is an excellent successor to the Twin Turbo Z32. But both have their highlights that make (and will make) them a classic amongst enthusiasts. The 370Z is also much easier and pleasurable to work on over the Z32...ESPECIALLY the twin turbo. Otherwise....a 370Z is really better car. |
