So this old guy made my morning. Maybe the title is a little missleading but on my way to school around 8:15 this morning i drove by some old guy taking a walk who was mean mugging hard core. There was a stop sign maybe 50 ft past him and we all know the Z has syncro rev.

I down shifted and being that i have after market exhaust that i love, it screamed the most beautiful scream. I looked in my side mirror and the old guy was standing there for a solid 10-15 seconds giving me the bird. I could not help but to laugh with joy. Ahh old people they get a pass for everything.

Thought i might share this with you all, maybe you had a mental image and too got a little enjoyment out of it.

Came from a very poor redneck community. Tried very hard to get out and be something. Joined army for college money, went to college, and now finally have a nice job.

This car is/will be my first real monetary investment. I've been posting on facebook about my results asking for feedback, mostly from my college friends. Some of my friends from my home town have been really railing into me hard for just wanting to buy one, as if the act of me asking for buying advice is bragging or lording it over them or something.

I don't even have the dang car yet!

I've also been seriously harassed about buying an import.

You're going to learn in due time that many poor people suck. They will try to key your ****, they will talk bad about you, and they will do all manner of things to get your money from you. It's what caused them to be poor in the first place--laziness and ineptitude.

Maybe your car is really loud and it is annoying? Beautiful noise to you might be ear rape to others. (Same with all the m-fers who have to ride loud bikes/cars too)

this must be coming from an old man POV. If it was annoying to him he would have gave me the finger as i drove by, no he gave me the finger because i down shifted which automatically revs the engine. Obviously he thought i did it on purpose to him not knowing that is the nature of the car. You should read the original post all the way before commenting.

fi cbe is not obnoxiously loud. many cars are louder stock.
