that would help!
Dragonbreath makes some good points. For instance my wife never understood why I wanted the 370 more then moving to a nicer larger home at this point in my life. But for me I was fine living in our starter home a few more years so I could buy my car before we have kids. Still no kids and car should be paid off before I have any so once we do move I will have my 370 as my garage queen. Not to mention once my reducilous payments on my Z are done then I could buy another new used car(2-3 year old car) which would be much more affordable then a $50k+ car (Canadian prices) that I only put 15k down on! Where as my next car purchase will be for a dd that will probably only cost 15-25k which is much more reasonable. As for the affording a home thing. If people are paying rent, they can afford a mortgage. It's just a matter of what their credit looks like! That's the only thing that would hold you back.

I'm 32 and this is my first Z - a 2012 Base coupe.
I pay $122 a month through USAA with my financial coverage maxed with a $1000 ded. I'm based in Guam, so it could be more...or less. I don't know how other states fair. Compared to my last "sports car" a '87 IROC Z28, I was 16, in S. Cali and my insurance was $333.00 a month. So, I'd say I'm doing well. I've had 1 ticket when I was 17, and no accidents that stayed on my record or were my fault. |

Age 26. This is my 10th car since I've had license. I'm a car guy and being into my car is my hobby. So technically, I justify my payment as my means of transportation and my hobby. Also, I busted *** and worked full time since right after high school and all through college. It also greatly helped that my parents paid my college tuition. For that, I am immensely grateful.
