I hope all these 18-21 year olds understand how silly they sound when they say they bought their Z without any help.
If someone died and left you a lot of money, thats help If you parents pay every other expense you have so all your mcdonalds money can go into a car payment, thats help If you won the lottery, thats help |

What kind of job could an 18 year old get that would afford them all living expenses and a 30,000$ car? Not any that requires a college degree since they would just be getting out of high school.

has little to do with money management and a lot to do with the fact that an 18 year old has zero experience, zero education, and zero maturity to get a job that pays decently. Unless of course someone gets you the job...id also call that help

How many 20 year olds do you know that have finished a bachelors degree and finished a couple years field experience? Or that aren't drinking their livers into oblivion for that matter.

i'll be the first to admit that i got the job as a favor but i have kept my job becaus im a good/hard worker and i am not claiming i havent gotten any help (as im sure you have gotten in your life) also i would call juggling rent, car note, utilities, and living expenses being paid on time EVERY month good money managent but maybe we have different views on money management

Thats all im getting at...nobody that young has absolutely made it without a little help here or there, and its annoying to see people claim that.
Nothing wrong with getting a job by knowing someone, since you are repaying that favor by being a good employee. And yeah, money management skills are great, but you also gotta have it to manage it. |

Not saying there are many, but there are a few out there. Don't need to have your bachelor's degree to have some education. Internships don't require a completed degree and give you field experience. Some internships, like engineering ones, pay relatively well.
