Who cares what they think?

No need for this site to turn into another "MyD***'sbiggerthanyours.com". There's plenty of kids to enjoy that nonsense on the "other Z" sites.

The Camaro and the 370Z arent even in the same segment. For some reason, people seem to think they are...probably because the Camaro blows away everything in its segment as it is

They're different cars for different folks with different needs and wants. It's not fair to either car to compare them directly on that level.

I'm sure both are good cars, just for different reasons.

There really wasn't any need to go over there to stir the pot. Sure some of the posts were silly, but plenty of them were perfectly logical.

Don't take this the wrong way but I think you did more harm than good. Separate thread, poorly constructed paragraph, etc. :/

It IS a Camaro forum afterall, let them think what they want.

I agree. I read about a page and there are some decent posts, along with some other posts that are to be expected.

Check out the thread on the camaro on this forum....not exactly flattering either. But that's to be expected of any brand/car specific forum.

With that said though, I actually do enjoy these type of threads, but you need to look for the objective posts and not let the "fanboy" posts bother you.

Everybody knows that you aren't a good, patriotic American unless you buy an "American" car (note that whether the "American" car is built in CONUS or Canada or Mexico and whether it has 90% NA parts content or 5% NA parts content notwithstanding).

I was an early member of one of the first F-body forums and stayed a member for almost a decade so it's with some actual knowledge when I say that many, many members of such forums truly think in line with the above and that opinions to the contrary are not welcome or tolerated.

Screw "American" cars... everyone on this forum should support their US economy and buy an American made Harley-Davidson motorcycle!

...sorry, I'm an engineer for Harley, and I'd like to keep my job...

I had a Vietnam veteran pull up to me the other day on the road in his bike asking me why I bought a Japanese vehicle and then scolded me for not supporting America. I rolled up my window while laughing and turned a different direction. I'm sure that leather vest he was wearing was made in America... or that television he has in his home.

Did Nissan get a federal bailout and is it in danger of bankruptcy? I like the Camaro but right now GM just doesn't instill me with a feeling of consumer confidence.
