I also have a 2010 Maxima. It's such an amazing car for the price if you get it loaded up with all the goodies Nav, sport, etc. Look into it and test drive one just to check it out. Doesn't hurt.

Congrats on the purchase, however an F.I. Z blows the doors off any BMW short of the new m5 and maybe the m6. Also in the long run I think it will be cheaper to get huge power out of an F.I. Z than a 135 but hey now we get to find out in time don't we . Nonetheless bmw does have a certain level of luxury that the Z lacks. I hope you won't turn your back on us Z guys now that you got the 135.

That is before dealer markup, you will pay over $50k for it and if you aren't willing to someone other old guy who will think its a collector car will.

Cadillac CTS coupe 4 seats and you wont loose a lot of HP or handling. If you get the CTS-V I believe it has more power than the Z.

For all the stats the CTS-V puts down I saw a relatively stock 2004 Sti beat it once and on two other runs the CTS-V was in mid 4th before he caught up. Embarrassing for what on paper is a godly car.

Sounds like the CTS-v driver didn't care about the old suby or couldn't drive.

Or it took a little longer getting that heavier V8 moving

I would be more than happy to find out about that... cheaper in long run? I spend 22k on my 135... 600 in I GAURANTEE I will go 12.2 or better at the track if I went right now... another 400 for used downpipes, $480 for meth kit, $600 for intercooler, and 100 oct gas and I will have 450hp / 480 tq in a car that weighs 3100 lbs... with radials will go 11.5 or better at 121-125 for just about 2,000. Beyond that guys get upgraded turbos (2500) and only pull abother 50 hp or so, or shoot with a small shot of nitrous.. which makes the car NUTTY... a guy trapped 130 something on a GPS device.. ill post his vid in a second, its bezerk and he is on stock intercooler, turbos, and intake, lol... Id love to run a SC Z or a lightly boosted 370z once I get my washer fluid meth kit installed, that will put me in the high 11 second range with only 1400 invested....... the Z will get faster but certainly wont be cheaper... check dragtimes there are a slew of 1s in low 11 range... I will make a thread soon with the 1 and its progress.. so far just JB4, duel cone intakes, and a modified clutch valve that improves shift time... downpipes and exhaust will be installed by the end of the week... Im up in the air about the exhaust because I LOVE how quite the car is while being so quick already.. But for the OP if you want a similar speed car with luxory def look at CPO'd 3 series, the 4 door e90s could be had for low 20s and with just a flash have well over 300 hp and 340 tq.... its pretty impressive how they cars react to mods... some say they have there problems, fuel pump is certainly one of them but its warrantied regardless to 120k and seems to be some what resolved with the new one.. the 2008-9 blocks are also forged, I own a 2008 and thats really fn awesome here is downpipes, stock intake, aftermarket exhaust, meth kit, 36 shot of nitrous, JB4 , and race gas on STOCK intercooler which is junk its an 11.4 at 130 on a race logiv with a 1.9 60, these cars can pull 1.6 60s driven right, so if he could do that theres a 10.8 run with not that many mods at all... granted a 36 shot of nitrous and meth is on wild side , but he is only running 15 psi as well, most run 17 on race gas

OP, 335/135 is a lot of fun, worth checking out. Depending on why you want bigger, the STI/EVO are also worth looking at. |
