2012 370z Revised

Found these links stating some updates on the MY2012 370z which includes a snow mode button similar to that of the G37, a new TPMS stating psi of each tire, and apparently a revised suspension. I cannot confirm the legitimacy of these articles but it caught my attention. Maybe it's for Europe version only, who knows??

I think you're right, my 2011 Z has all this features (I'm from Italy)

We are not sure if the GT features are trickling down. But as it stands. Snow mode most likely won't be on sport models considering we are equipped with SUMMER ONLY tires. Suspension tuning with snow mode will turn our sports cars into real gran touring cars. Not sure I'm too happy about that. Tpms, is probably a program in the ecu with new sensors. No big deal.

My question is... ok so we gt the car up, then infinitize it slightly. Doesn't that take away some of its dedicated sports appeal? Updates to me would be, revised base radio with added usb/ipod and xm. oil cooler and brake cooling ducts worked into the body. A mild tuning of the engine that would kill some of the high pitsched rasp in the engine after 5k rpm. It doesn't bother me but lots of complaints from other buyers tell me that type of update makes more sense.

It's a 30K 370z, not a Ferrari. Good luck getting a hardcore track car that most won't track

I just want the TPMS pressures back. Then I'll be happy.
Had it on my 350 and was invaluable. Went to lunch one day. Tires were OK. Left to go home that night, one tire was at 15 pounds. Stopped on the way home to get the tire fixed. Badda-bing badda boom.

Really no major improvements.

I guess since your 11' has it then it's just a Europe update. I could make use of the snow mode in NY and and to get the exact reading of tire pressure in each tire would be nice but it's not available for US.

I think there are LED daylight lights coming up to

This article is exactly like the 370Z GT spec'd for European roads, they even used the same pictures and chopped out the GT banner :shakes head:....

Other changes include improved isolation of road noise on the coupé...
Nevermind about drivability improvements - at least it's a tad bit quieter. :p

I guess the 350z NISMO WAS A FERRARI. Lol. Be for real. I'm not asking for dct and hyperalloy chassis.

cossie1600 09-13-2011 06:53 PM

The 350 Nismo guys think they are special because their cars are seamwelded at spots by Yamaha or something. They refuse to recognize the 370Z Nismo as a real Nismo because it is just a car with suspension and bodykits.

The Nismo is just an appearance package with a few bolt ons, it's not like a GT3 or anything. I don't know if you can call it special if all the parts are available on ebay.....

With the exception of the GTR, all Nissan cars run the same brake fluid. Did the magazine complain about the 350?

Real racing parts are very expensive and most of them are not streetable. The novelty of driving a "track car" daily will get old very quickly, most just use it as a bragging right.

Oh yeah the special yellow brakes on the Porsche don't last at the track either, how come no one complains about it?
