Default Change oil before or after winter storage?

Hey guys,

My Z currently has 2500 miles on the clock and I was wondering if it is recommended to do my first oil change this fall before I put it away for the winter (will probably be around 3200 miles by then) or just wait until spring and change it first thing?

Change before store. On the off chance you have some water and other contaminates in your used oil, it would sit in the engine for a few months un-used. Clean oil sitting there instead means no contaminates sitting in there

WOW, I'm getting sad already! Talking about putting away the Z on the 1st week of September.

BTW, I HATE Winter!

Also a good idea... I just got mine done last week, not sure how many more miles ill put on mine before it goes away at the end of October. If it had not been done in a while, id do it both...

My husband takes care of our cars. I asked him and he said oil and filter change before storage. Here are a few useful links to storing a car.
