what will you do with $100k?
I am just curious about what people will do with $100k.
Since many of you in the forum are into cars like me, so I want to get some feedbacks about the future plan. Below are some options, (assuming no kids and house paid off) 1. Buy a $100k worth car (M5, GTR, 998s, used GT3, etc) 2. Buy next M3/Cayman R and get a DD. 3. Just buy the next Z and save money for the future incidents or invest 4. Buy Z/Evo/Sti and spend massive money on tuning for the weekend car and buy a DD 5. other opinions? Hope you guys are enjoying labor day weekend! |
Take my Z, build the motor, Twin Turbo it, add a few supporting mods and bank the rest.

Gt-r. With no children or a mortgage, I'll be able to afford maintenance, lol.
|
Buy a second Z and mod the heck out of it. I would stay all motor though.
|
since i already got a z and a dd, i would put that 100k in the bank in case bad things happen.
|
GTR, house and invest the rest.
|
realistically I'd save it.
If I was gonna spend it, I'd snag an M3, and an 03 S2k for track duty. |

I'd probably save it too.
For a car I'd get a GT-R, a used R8, or maybe a used Lambo. Haven't decided yet, but this will hopefully be my actual next car decision in a couple of years. Leaning towards GT-R since it can be used as a DD more than the other two. |
pay off my car note, pay off a chunk of my mortgage, buy a used DD car for winter, hookers and blow

second house near a beach

Ill buy myself a Yamaha R6 and rest into my bank. nothing to my Z
And if the 100k were to be invested on a car, I'd probably get porsche 911, GTR, or audi r8 |
I would pay off my student loans and have about 2 grand left over for celebration purposes.

Yeah with 100K suddenly appearing, paying off any existing car notes and/or putting most of it down paying off the rest of a house note would be priority 1. Assuming you don't have a car note to worry about and fully own your primary residence....
I'd probably pay AM Performance to give my 370Z some of their basic royal treatment (strip the car down and seam weld it and cage it, like they did for their racecars), and then go nuts on other racing upgrades for it (aero, lightweight body stuff, suspension). Maybe a GTM supercharger kit too while you're at it. And save a chunk to pay for a continuous supply of tires and track incidents :) |
