Congrats! You'll notice a huge difference (once broken in) between this and your S2k. I still have my AP2 and love it to death (have tried to sell many times but never could :shakes head:). I wanted a DD that wasn't fussy, still sporty and had good power that was AT so if I was stuck in traffic, I could just chill with the radio and not clutch my brains out. I got that with the 370z and even with the 7AT I have NEVER felt like power was lacking. I just wish it would shift quicker in manual mode. Probably just as fast as a stick but since all I'm doing is pushing a button it feels slower. ;)

Of course the S2k is a bit like a Civic below 6k rpms. lol

I also have a 2011 and as far as I know there really are not any oil consumtion issues with the 2011 model. In fact the TSB for this doesn't include the 2011 models. I've not had any issues with mine so far. I've owned my Touring/Sport since December and this car never ceases to amaze me! Got to love the looks of this thing also. It looks bad *** in the rear, front or sides.

congrats on the purchase OP! as to your question about oil consumption, i have a 2011 also and did a check of the oil after i reached the end of the break in period and it read right exactly where it needed to be right between "H" and "L", so as far as my 2011 is concerned i have not noticed any oil consumption issues. I have 2500 miles on her now though so i'm going to be checking the oil again tomorrow and i'll let you know if it's still where it should be :)

a day later he calls up and says 'ken, i can do the 1500, come in it's all ready to go for you.' lol. i told him my brand spakin' new 370Z that i got for invoice has already taken up the spot. :D he said no way so i sent him a pict. :p

The 370Z is a better car. Of the S2000s, the CR is basically a joke IMO.

I burned about 1/2 quart during break-in. I did one oil change around 1,750 miles and I'm just about to hit 3,000 miles now. Absolutely no oil consumption since. I check it weekly along with other fluids and tire pressure. So far so good with my '11...

Only Oil Consumption?

Oil Temp & Braking....

However, if you are not going to track the car is no worry.

The oil consumption will be track by the dealer if your car develop that problen, not all Zs have that issue.

Just go to FAQs and you will find the answer to a lot of your questions. :tiphat:

As mentioned below, just monitor your oil. Chance are low that 2011's have the issue (not even part of TSB).

I just bought a 2011 370z touring/sports packaged coupe in red. Had the car for about 3 weeks now. Only few questions i have are... How do I clean the suede on the seats and on the door? Which leather cleaner works the best for black seats? Other then that I'm very pleased with my new car, being a former 2003 g35 owner , it was a hard choice but in the end I think I did right by getting this car.

Go on this site and scroll down on instructions to clean alcantara.

What is Alcantara & How to Clean It? - Professional Detailing Business Forums

I'm sure any leather cleaner from a reputable brand will clean basic black seats just fine.my personal recommendation would be mothers leather cleaner and conditioner products.

Mothers® Reflections® Advanced Leather Care

Congrats on your ride and good luck. :)
