call waiting campaign

I just received a campaign notice from Nissan stating that previous Z's had call waiting feature but newer ones does not, that feature was not available on my 2010 model. for customer satisfaction, they will update the software for free to enable that option. that's nice of Nissan. my question is how usful is this option from someone who has used this and is it cumberson :rolleyes:

I got the letter too. Who the hell needs call waiting on a cell phone -- in a car ... ?? Frankly, the phase is familiar, but I don't actually remember what it does -- haven't had a land line for years ...
