Got a 11' and it has 7600 miles on it since I got it in February. You're paying $$$ for the car you may as well enjoy it as often as possible. :)

I will however be putting it in storage in a couple of months when winter sets in, I figure from beginning of December through around March.

I don't know what the hell I am doing other than leaving mine in the garage. 2011 bought new on 04/16/11 and to date it has 948 miles on it. Bought in LaGrange IL it had 11 miles on it. Drove it back from Chicago and it had 541 miles on it. Since I got it home drove it 411 miles. As mentioned 948 to date.
I still like the car alot and glad I bought it.

2009 with just a tick over 17K miles.

I daily drive it in fair weather during the warm months, it's been on a couple of road trips and on a nice Sunday, it's easy for me to go out for a couple of hours just to have fun.
On the other hand, I typically don't drive it in the rain and it gets parked December through March to keep it out of the snow and late winter salt and cinders.
Pretty low mileage for a 2009, but kind of a lot if you consider I only drive it eight months out of the year. Somebody who's better at math than I am could estimate what my mileage would be if I drove it all the time.

thanks!

Not a stupid question.

Unless you can afford to garage it and treat it as a weekend toy, then just drive your car and enjoy it. Take care of it, perform all scheduled maintenance, and you should easily get 250k - 300k miles out of it.

You sound young, so drive your car, save your money for a house, get your finances under control, and then get a weekend toy. Maybe by then your current Z can become your daily driver/beater.

Purchase date 8/20/11 and I've got 353. Daily driver with a 14 mile round trip commute. Was out of town for ten days right after I got the car.

I put in an average of 1200 miles/month. It's mostly freeway miles. It's my daily driver car. I love driving my car every day.

39k on my 09. DD for me and it's been great.

DD'ing my Z here too.

I don't think it's quite a "shitload" - for what this car delivers, it's a bargain. Even factoring in the mild service charges.

Now a GT-R (and up) is getting into the shitload category.

They build them to drive them. 84000 kms = 50000 miles :tiphat:

I'm averaging about 1000 miles per month... mostly on cruising the twisties on the weekends :)
