I think it would be easier if you just told us how much your budget is..

Honestly you are going the wrong way. Get some HFC or TP, then exhaust, drop in filters and finally a tune if you want to add power. For weight reduction I would remove the junk in the hatch area, relocate your battery to the rear (maybe buy a light weight one if you want). What is the purpose of this build? You say NRG seats but you are a college student so is this your daily driver? |
11lb sounds like a painful DD. There is a list of components and weights for this car somewhere on this site. Losing weight is for me always a better option then adding HP for overall performance up to a point of course. I watched some show of a group of people stripping down a Toyota corolla or something and that thing actually went pretty damn fast afterwards and they didn't spend any money.
1. What's the purpose of the car? 2. What's the budget. |
OP: Seat comfort for a DD is too important to me to be able to answer the other, HP.
Get an oil cooler or your power advantage will be quickly forgotten. |

Quit eating Big Mac's. There's your weight savings.
Attach HFC's. That's where the biggest choke point is. |

I hate that place, every time I have gone the food has been cold, wrongly cooked or just tasted like garbage. |

And when I mean college, I wasn't talking about "educational" purposes. :happydance: |
