The cops around my neighborhood sit in complete blackout on dark streets with the radar box attached to their car. I think a cop is supposed to have at least the parking lamps on while performing their "duties" as it were.
Anyway, my V1 always picks it up well in advance (saved me 3 times this month alone) and when I get to where the cop is hiding I hit the brights and light them up until I pass. Screw them. They are creating more of a hazard by sitting blacked out. And yes I always warn other drivers if I can as well as utilize a "rabbit" if someone happens to be scooting pretty good. |
