Just picked up my winter ride so I can garage the Z for the winter. Got 98 AWD Subaru outback with 126 K mi for $2900. I feel like i got a pretty sweet deal, these Subarus last forever. Just felt like sharing.

Maybe post up your beater thread? Id be interested lol

I had a Subaru Impreza for a while. I bought it new but loved that car when I lived in Seattle. Can't beat the value of AWD when it snows. lol

Sweet. I just bought a daily driver yesterday. It doesn't get cold here in Charleston, so I can drive my Z year round. It will be nice to have my new beater to commute to work. No pics yet, but it is a 1985 Toyota pickup with 118k miles and lots of new parts. It ran like a champ on the test drive, so I shelled out the $1600 for it. It looks like crap from the outside, but runs great.

If its 4wd then you got an awsome deal by all means. Either way a toyota pickup for less 2grand is a bargain. I dont know why people think there made of gold.
