Going from Z and back.
I just want to share my observations from one RWD Nissan to another RWD Nissan.
So I finally got my 240SX back to its stock KA24DE setup (was turbo'd and rice'd up). I forgot I haven't driven the car for nearly 6 months. I remembered when I drove the Z, a lot of things I've noticed compared to my 240sx: -feel more planted to the ground. -more power on the wheels. -cornering feels slightly heavy, but very controlled. -interior is almighty beautiful. -eye turner whenever I go. -great potential for power, but feels right on stock power. Then I got back to my 240sx again and noticed: -omg, I feel light as a feather. -I forgot sliding around is fun. -I don't feel bad about pushing hard & gas mileage. -car feels quick in its own right. -really agile car (not Miata status, but still good) and would only need 250HP for it to be really fun. Here's an image of my Z under the tent right next to my 240sx. http://i496.photobucket.com/albums/r...om-picture.jpg My plan is to do some light upgrades to the 370z, but afterwards, I would like to restore my 240sx into nearly "new stock" look with some performance aftermarket. I had a 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S, but I've driven RWD since I first driven my 1985 Toyota Celica GT and never felt "right at home" with FWD...though I would make an exception with AWD. |
