An Imperial gallon is larger than an American gallon ... your ratio above is correct 1 imp gallon = 1.2 US gallons ... put that ratio backwards, 1 US gallon = .832 imp gallon ... america's education system indeed j/k

I honestly never heard of an imperial gallon. How the British measure there gas is of little importance to me. Every country I've been to uses metric litres and kilometers, not gallons or miles. Almost none of the world uses the gallon system. Anyway, its a waste of time, dealing with people like you.
