Just damaged my car blind spot side view mirrior
I was making a left hand turn. I'm usually very careful. I did not see a stopped car and clipped it. The side view mirror blocks my line of sight during turns. Does any one else have this problem? No one hurt. I think I have to replace my front bumper and get a booster seat to see over my side view mirrior.

How tall are you OP? I haven't ever noticed any problem with not seeing the mirror myself. I am not what I would call tall but not short either (6 ft). I wonder if its only a problem if your a bit shorter than that?

You should really think about getting the circle convex mirrors.
Helps prevent the blind spots. Amazing for parking, especially parallel parking. Also helps you lane change, you don't have to turn over to your shoulder =). And sorry to here about your accidents. |

I think the 350z shorter mirrors look like they don't block so much, something about the design/angle of the stock mirrors really block a lot of forward corner view.
And blind spot mirrors won't help that. We need to replace the mirrors with LCD screens that switch front/back view

I don't have an issue with the mirrors, per se...but I would like to see pics of these on your Z so I can evaluate.

I've noticed that when making a left hand turn at an intersection where there's a concrete curb that it's very difficult to see around the mirror. Been REAL careful with that.

Btw- we are talking about the physical mirror housing being the blind spot, not behind the car.
I don't have a problem seeing over the mirror, I'm 5'11" but also have the seat adjusted higher. Try turning the knob and seeing if it gets you over that point. Or stop putting your seat reclined all the way like a G
