I was goign to say maybe the problem is when i drive i sit up so that I can see things and be safer.

but if guess if people want to give up safety for "ridin in style" then go for it, but dont complain that the company didnt design something right.

P.S im 5'8-9. seriously my height goes up and down every doctors visit.

I'm around 6ft and the mirrors have never been an issue. Adjusting the height of your seat while driving is more important than looking like an OG low rider. I'd rather spend my money on mods than body work.

Honestly, we're driving sports cars...not Honda Civics.

I'm a 6'1" new owner, and no problems with the mirrors here. However, I can see how folks are rubbing curbs and trashing rims.

I brought my Z to work for the first time today. Just after the access gate/card reader to the garage, there is a 90° right turn, and the fenders totally block the view of the curb.

Talk about driving blind! Ouch.

+1 on the seat adjustment comments. What did the other party/police say when you told them your didn't see an entire car because your side mirror was in the way?

Really? I know our mirrors are a bit large (to help reduce blind spot issues) but I have never heard this issue before. I don't think height or seat position would have anything to do with it either, if you're that low down you wouldn't be able to see in front of you. No need to blame the car for ever accident people do make mistakes and it's alright.

Once a meteor was streaking to earth and was struck by lightening on the way down. This diverted it's path so that it struck a cow's ***. That cow leaped out in front of my Z causing me to hit a curb whilst avoiding it. This scratched my rim. ******* car.

If you had smaller mirrors you could have seen it sooner.

Edit: oh 101 posts

Plus, if you sit up straighter and raise the seat, you get to see your shiny hood! At night time, if it's washed + waxed, all the reflections of lights make you go

I sit up very straight and somewhat forward all the time. I'm about 5'10" and the first thing I noticed versus the NSX was how much view the mirrors blocked - then I looked backwards (!)

If I look over my shoulder I see the passenger head rest or the drivers side molding for that useless window. The lane change best practice in a 370Z is to check your mirrors, lean forward and check the mirrors again and then ACCELERATE
