Default unable to set autolock?

read the manual, and i cant get it to work. i get in the car, shut the door, turn the key to on, and hold down the lock button until the hazards flash twice, just as the manual reads. except....they are not autolocking. im probably just being an idiot, any insight?

p.s, this car has a noisy *** throw out bearing! normal?

Can't comment on the programming. But the throw out bearing does seem noisy compared to the other vehicles I have owned so I wouldn't be too alarmed.

Are you sure you are setting the autolock or the auto un-lock? Same procedure just a different direction on the lock switch. They come from the factory in the on state, I just turned mine off today.
