Got stuck between 10 lamborgahini's
I know they say always be happy with what you have and you should appreciate what you have because others don't have that prevlage, and don't get me wrong I loooove my z, I know all u guys bought ur z cuz u love the car, but u can't argue that the extra attention u get when driving it isn't nice lol. Now I'm sure a lot of you have experienced this before where you are at a traffic light and all of a sudden a Lambo comes right next to u and ur like oh dammm this lambo just took isn't my thunder. Well in my case it was more like 10 lambos and a couple of ferraries to top it off lol I was at a traffic light, and all of a sudden a lambo pulls right next to me, the traffic light went green and the lambo took of followed by another and another and another, it was a none stop string of lambos I counted them and there must of been 10 of them, followed by 3 or 4 ferrairies, I guess they had a meet or something. It was kinda cool to see that many lambos at once and hearing them all at once as one lambo floored it followed by the other was a treat lol has this happened to any of u guys before?

I went for a ride along with a local Ferrari club drive back in July. This sounds similar. It was more attention getting than usual.

I had something like that happen to me before back when I had a maxima, it was some car club with all super cars, I think maybe a quarter mile of them all racing each other, I just heard all those rumbling, though it was some bikes, then saw almost every type of exotic car, including an F50 blow by me LOL. Someone always has something better, just be proud of what you have man.

yah, lambo's have wow factor thats for sure in my area. i kinda prefer the ferrari's though...i like their sound better.
anyway i would look out of place if i owned one. each time i take one out it will look like some wannabie korean guy in a birthday rental. ... or better yet, maybe people will think 'ahh, asian restaurant owner, follow him to his wok n wok or tempura place, it must be good!' i would then have a caravan of buick regals and ford fusion rednecks following me. wtf... just be happy you have a Z and a healthy body to go with it. you dont need huge bucks to be happy. |

If I am already super anal about my car, worried about scratches, dings, bug etching, bird poop, where to park it, getting it rained on for the first time (never has, never will), eating in it, fingerprints, smudges, dirt, dust, putting leather bras over clearbras, using different > 250 dollar waxes on her, and many more anxieties........... I will have a heart attack owning a ferrari or lambo. I would be soooooo worried about the car that I couldn't even enjoy it.

I always like when the people driving the exotics give the thumbs up or a nod of approval to the lower tier cars. I think a true test of how much you like your car is this; if you were basically financially free, would you still own a 370z (amongst your other very expensive cars)? My answer is absolutely. Most of the guys driving Ferraris and 911 Turbos worked their way up and it took them decades to do so. It's a shame that some people go through life thinking that the only nice cars in the world are 7 Series BMWs and Aston Martins.

I'm with G2Z on this one. But I'm not really into detailing. I just like to keep my toys clean which requires detailing. I dont really enjoy the process, only the results. and knowing how much work was put into getting her there I don't like getting her dirty. I don't usually drive on wet days either unless Im going to wash her anyway or testing out my setup in the wet
