I got 35% on my side windows and rear quarter windows and 15% on my rear hatch window recently and everyone that has seen it at my work can't believe how much tint changes the look of my Z lol

yep tints make almost any car look a lot better!

I am running 20% tints on mine and love it!

As a new Z owner this has been a great forum and a wealth of information. Thanks to everyone.

This is my second post but relevant to this thread. Yesterday I'm cruising down a three lane highway (still in my 1200 mile break in period) in the middle lane going with the flow of traffic. Minding my own business enjoying the day. A mustang GT comes flying up in the left lane, hits the brakes right next to me and starts revving his engine. He stayed there for a good two minutes accelerating and backing back off. WTF? I just ignored him and he finally went away and I continued my enjoyable drive home.

Maybe it was my just cleaned and waxed car that made him stop and act like a jack-wad!!!

I have had plenty of fox body mustang's mess arond with me. I never do anything about it lol. I got a middle finger from what looked to be a 70 year old man as he passed me by. Till this day i have no idea why. haha. Oh wells. The stupid things people do don't really get to me.

Headed home today from school I was in traffic on a 3 lane highway and saw a 350 in the far left lane. I was in the middle lane and was moving a little faster than him until we both came neck and neck with nowhere to go, I looked over at him waiting for a wave or a thumbs up or anything but he didn't even look my way, then as soon as traffic started to pick up he shoots in front of me in my lane and slows down to almost 35 mph.

I just waited until another lane opened off and took off. And that was the end of that but this isn't my first encounter with a "hostile" 350z

Thats what I run into the most around here.... Seems like every time I go out for a drive some idiot in a ram 3500 is driving around me hyper aggressively

Not to long ago late at night some old beat up truck started to throw revs at me for like 5 minutes LOL

:tup: pick ups (usually the big ones w lift kits etc AND a lot of F-150s) are my biggest adversaries. They will ride my aZz-not pass-or pass and then slow way down...:wtf:. I'm glad to hear some of you have the same issues. I thought it was related to a woman driving a Z, that along w my name on my plate (Cindy) probably just inflames them....not in "my place" i guess:tup:

I can't wait to piss off the 2.5 million lifted trucks here in AZ then with my Z! :icon17:

I bought my 2013 Sport touring because in the grand scheme it is relatively low profile. There are so many other cars that are more onstentatious, more conspicuous so I am curious that this seems to be such a problem. I didn't get that attitude with my 95 Talon TSI, 98 540, 97 Volvo C70, 06 Z4 coupe, or my 78 280. I was hoping that when I chose a 2013Z over an 07 911 C4S I would avoid that crap - but I guess we will see.

One thing is you sure get a good idea of just how big the front grills of some trucks are. Take up the rear-view mirror.

Mustangs in general mostly foxbody are on the hunt to try and street race imports. Everytime I get revved on I don't even turn my head to the side.

My other vehicle is a '99 silverado. I ALWAYS turn off my lights when I see them shining in the mirrors of another car at stop lights/signs. Since I've been driving my Z, I swear every other vehicle on the road has their high beams on 24/7 lol.

I usually be easy on gas, so when I try to pass someone on the road or HWY, I pass them at a moderate speed.

And always there's these people in those sh!tty low-power sedan gas-up and trying to block me...

I am not sure they do it in purpose or they are driving in their own inner World...

i was cruising down the highway and this old beat up miata drove past me and the guy flick me off for no apparent reason, this was during the summer down here in tx, i guess his ac was broken cause he had his windows rolled down and was just too jelly for my ride, minding you that i had my windows rolled up and cruising with a/c blowing in my face lol

How many of you guys have had 350z's pull up next to you trying to get you to run? These guys are starting to get annoying. Passed one up tonight on the freeway and he decided to speed up and pull beside me. I paid no attention to him, nor all the other highway racer/stoplight dragsters that try to prove they have a bigger d!ck than I do.

Really 350 guys hate? Thats sad...

I miss the days when I was in my Subaru & we gave "thumbs up" or "peace signs" to every other WRX or STi no matter the year or modification level.

And to get the best reaction from racers, do not look at them or even acknowledge their existence lOl that tends to piss them off for some reason...

I live right outside Ft. Hood military base which is sports car/muscle car galore around here. I've had my share of 350z hate, but it might just be this area as there are a lot of young immature soldiers with fast cars. Like people have mentioned in previous posts, I get a ton of lifted trucks that try to nearly run me off the road when they get a chance. Since my Z isn't a DD, I tend to not even drive it at night anymore, especially on Friday and weekend nights. People are just to dangerous :shakes head:

Several times. Even a civic yesterday. It was a LX model so I backed off.

Yeah my Nismo isnt my daily & only brought it out today to go to the cleaners. Finally broke 100 mi today YAAAY!!!!!

Happy to me this morning on my way to work! Some idiot decided to blow pass me in a trail blazer and pretty much cut me off/cornered me into the parked cars next to me for no apparent reason. Mind u this was at 6:30am on a Sunday morning! Thank god for my good brakes I had to literally slam on my breaks to avoid hitting him/ the parked cars next to me. Great start to my shift

Got a blocker this morning. Truck of course. Pulled the old "I'm driving slow and mellow" trick, fell back a little. Of course, as predicted, he slowed down to continue his block giving me a nice gap between him and the car in front of me. I put my foot into it and got over to the the exit I needed to take.

theres this guy with a 300zx non turbo that I see sometimes on my commute to work, try to keep up with me, roasted him. He kind of looked like drake from degrassi anyways he did not know how to drive a manual kept stalling. :rofl2:

I live in Bumblescum, PA and where I'm at it's the hill billies in their '98 Rams everywhere. (Also a healthy number of late 90s Z28s and Integras.) I'll be rolling to work at 70mph in a 55 zone, and they're all over my arse. Most of the time I just stick the needle at 70 and stay there. If they need to blow some diesel fumes and pass me to feel manly, so be it. I'll just enjoy my ride to work and my superior hygiene habits...

One time I did c*ck block a tow truck. Single lane road, I was going ten over, as was the five-car line ahead of me, and he was ALL over me. He tried to pass me twice and I wouldn't let him. Probably not the smartest thing to do, but he was pissing me off. Eventually he passed the entire five car line, including a tractor trailer, going over a hill. Good move. I actually debated chasing him down and getting his plate/company complaint number, but I was about a half mile from home, so I went home and watched Sons of Anarchy.

Definitely not alone! Seems like everyone and their brother wanna drag race. N the Z definitely demands the attention from the "boys in blue". I was pulled over once just because a state trooper wanted to know what type of car it was! The thing that happens most often to me is morons trying to cut me off because I'm driving a few mph faster than them, or they'll try n speed up when I attempt to pass them.

This happens to me all the time. It doesn't matter what car I'm driving. The Vette, Z, Supercharged Firebird, Jeep or Volt. People are just in too much of a hurry. I like to slow down and look around while I drive. Especially now during the holidays being that many people just like run that red lights because they don't want to wait.

What are you going to do? I just let them go on up the road and get in their accident or pass them at the light. I love it when that happens especially when I'm in the Volt. BTW the Volt is no slacker with 250ft lbs of torque. I just rarely use in battery mode. In elect/gas mode I'll put her in L Sport mode and blast away from lights just to show people Volt have something under the hood. ;-) Maybe Childish.... but, hella fun.

Oh yeah, it always cracks me up win a SUV wants to try to beat me. I just let them go because if I get in front of them and I have to hit my brakes there is now way they'll stop in time and I'll be the one suffering from the rear ender.
