General Question about Performance
I just had to ask for myself. I own a G37S 6MT sedan. I've READ that some of you stock gentlemen are hitting low 13's. I'm seeing low 12's in some of your guys' signatures. Unfortunately, none that I've seen had mods listed in their signatures. So tell me...is it true?! I'm hoping to hit low or 13 FLAT in my 2010 sedan! I can't image how some of you are already hitting 13 flat STOCK! Mine's fully bolted on, minus pulleys and headers. I'm UpRev tuned + I have 4.083 gearing.

You forget the weight 3300lbs vs 3700lbs. Weight means a whole lot in a drag race. My 240sx had a turbo setup hitting 280whp and was stripped to around 2600lbs. Let me tell you, it would out-drag you and my 370z.
You also have a longer wheelbase by 12 inches. It take a bit more to drag the weight from front to back compared to the Z. While weight distribution is the same as the Z, the longer wheel base + weight really gives the Z a little but more "gun" a launch. Lastly, the area where the passenger sits. I've driving G35's and you sit pretty much mid or mid-front like every other car. However, I was really surprised how a little more back I sit in the Z, so your own body weight is putting the weight distribution a bit more to the rear. (I could be wrong and felt the front seems long and the rear seems really short in my perspective).

I think if you're very good you will get mid 13 and if you're not you will get 14. The 370z is a low 13 car.
