sorry to hear about your adventure. glad no one was hurt...
please don't take this the wrong way but if it wasn't raining at the time.. the road seems from your pics not to be that slick. which it very well could have been. but if vdc was on you must have been pushing the limits of the car. which could happen to anyone. glad your ok though.... p.s seems like every week some one has gotten messed up. bad luck i guess |

that sucks dude... the 370 seems to do supringinly well in wet conditions compared to my old g35 coupe.. has a lot to do with tires but the car overall seems a bit better in sub par conditions...
sometimes things happen... let insurance do there thing, and hopefully you end up happy in the end

You definetly were driving aggressive if that happened to you.
-___-;; Wet grounds + taking turns is always a bad sign for some... Should've known better but hey atleast you didn't kill anyone or die. Insurance probably won't believe your story and will rape your $$$$. Might not be able to buy a new Z. This happened to a friend of mine but he had the new sti and now he's in a new civic. GL OP!

Yeah, sometimes we take the feel of the cars' speed for granted and thinking we're going 40 but actually the car is going 60 on smooth roads, hahaha.

Thanks guys. I probably was doing more than I reported. I don't know, I guess I lack the ability to care about the speed and time of the accident as I am swerving back and forth. Surprisingly, the only thing that was bad was the quarter panel and the front bumper no other big dings as far as I know.

Corona, sorry to hear about the crash.
Also a bit of trivia: roads don't have to be under standing water to be slick. The slickest conditions (outside of ice) are generally just-moist roads at the beginning of a rain fall after dry weather. This happens because grease and oil have had a chance to dry on the road surface, and when rain starts, it brings the slick stuff to the surface. After a while, that washes away. |
