Soooo many people are completely clueless with regards to how delicate paint actually is because they've never taken the time to closely inspect theirs.
Happy.... not just granules of dirt or buttons or snaps. It's the material itself. Only a very clean MF towel will not cause swirls... I doubt these people's clothes are that "soft". Paint is soft. Undoubtedly, if someone leans on it, some form of swirling/scratching will occur. Just a matter of how bad it is.

^ Wow.... ok that's funny.

Firstly, what car is that? A porsche or ferrari?

Secondly... that looks like a parking spot for an executive (named), so am assuming these turds pulled a prank like that? You can tell by the haste by which he left his sweatshirt on the ground and his buddy taking the shot.

I would ask nicely to GET THE F**K OFF MI CAR! Jk, but I yeah, I'd ask them to get off my car generously.

I put up stanchions and rope around my car wherever I park....on a serious note I caught 2 80 year old ppl resting leaning on my car and I still ran up to them and promply told them to quit dmging my paint. You cant say nothing to these ppl. Do you really want to have to spend hundreds of $ to repair scratches/dents/chips because your worried about hurting ppl feelings. Its your personal propety only you can protect it.

Hasn't really happened to me yet, but I already know well how leaning or rubbing against the car can swirl the finish, I've accidently done it working on the car (luckily fairly easily buffed out).

Most likely I'd evil stare first, then if they persist, call them out. I had a coworker write "CALIFORNIA DUSTER" on my hood once when my Z was dusty. Needless to say, I got a free hood detail and pretty much full access to a garage/tools .
