I've played with our OBD-II interface a lot, with Torque and other tools. Any OBD-II software can pull most of the common stats from our car, and read/reset the normal CEL/MIL stuff. Nissan's factory Consult III tool that the dealerships have can read these OEM codes, and they've licensed it to a few others (e.g. UpRev's Cipher can read them as well). I highly doubt that the product in the t-mart link does anything special in this regard, unless it comes with some licensed software.

I have the Harbor Freight one also, no computer needed.
CAN OBDII Code Reader with Multilingual Menu

All these things do are read your emission codes, it doesn't read your individual sensors like the Nissan ones
