I think $38k would be a stretch, even private party. But you might be able to clear $30k PP with your mods if you find the right buyer. You could probably take KBB on your car + maybe 50% of the value of your mods to get an idea of what you might be able to realistically get for it.

Wow really I seen people sell there tt z here and al they had was just that and exhaust and get close to 38k
|
You might get lucky. Depends on the market.

I was actually looking at my options too. It makes a whole lot more sense to part out the car and then sell it privately. Whether with mods or without, you will definitely get more money privately. Thinking seriously about it.

Yeah, I didn't have anything really serious on my Z but I was going to get the same trade in value modded or stock. I was able to part it out and recoup about 50% of my cost on the mods, so it worked out pretty well. It's almost always best to part it out.
Raul, what are you looking at? I am coming up on a full year with the 5.0 so I'm looking at my options as well. |

Steve, honestly... I might hold off a while with a normal car and then pickup a GT-R.

Is this like a team overvaluing their players or something?

Yeah dealers dont use the Kelley Blue Book, they use the Black Book
|
That's honestly the reason why I hesitate to Sc or tt.... It adds zero value to the car. Just like that, poof, 11k down the tubes. If anything modding it even lowers the value.

After having the 5.0 for a year is there something about it that is losing its appeal that is making you look at other options? |
