This may already have been addressed but can the synchrorev feature of the tranny be added to base/non sport?

Hey, thanks shabarivas, I learned how to drive a manual transmission a few 911 Turbos ago.
Im just wondering if all the information/guts are already there and they just have to make a few changes. I am wondering if Nissan would really manufacture 2 different manual transmissions...I cant imagine they would... |

I mean.. then why do you want the rev match? And no nissan would be retarded to make 2 different trans... there was a thread about this earlier... it basically said you need a bunch of gate sensors some harness and a different (or maybe differently programed) ECU

The majority of SyncroRev is fancy software. With the appropriate ECU and sensor input from the gate sensors it should be possible.
The question is where are the gate sensors exactly? |

As sensitive as Nissan M6 transmissions are, I would not suggest this huge project.
