I managed to fit:

-an entire CBE system back there. The stock exhaust would have fit, but I didn't want to scratch up the interior.

-a whole set of tires.

-golf set (bag, clubs, etc.)

-my road bike. I took the wheels & seat post off and managed to close the trunk.

You should use those plastic seat condoms they put on at the dealer. Safety first.

Threads like this made me miss my Celica, so much room in the trunk. At least the 240sx is now the new "truck' of my stable.

Back when a 32" TV came with a big heavy tube I was thrilled to get one into the trunk of my 01 Celica. I bragged to my friends. I made fun of their SUVs. However, I did not consider how I would get it out. Took me forever and some serious back pain to lift it over the lip in the hatch.

I'll leave such cargo to my Mazda3 hatchback. The most I'll put in the hatch of the Z are golf clubs.

Yea if stuffed an entire set of tires in the car, without removing the passenger seat, it was not a fun experience tho, and the roll cage made it very hard. Next time im just pulling the passenger seat quick.
