I live about 50 miles south of you in Louisville and I try to use my Z as a daily driver, but I ride a motorcycle and have a ranger pickup for foul weather. Forget about driving it in the snow or ice

If you want to drive it year round...get a spare set of rims and snow/winter tires and you will be fine. Just take it easy when the weather is bad and use good judgment.

It's all about what tires you slap on it. If you keep the OEM summer tires on, then don't drive it in bad weather, they aren't designed for that. If you slap some winter tires on it, then you'll be fine, other than low clearance in heavy snowfall.

I keep summer tires on mine. I use a beater when the weather sucks. I don't want all that salt and crap on my Z.

I live in Clarksville.

I bought a set of rims and snow tires after our first decent snow two years ago. The stock Bridgestones WILL NOT go after a good snow fall.
I bought Bridgestone Blizzaks and rims from Tire Rack. They are flippin' awesome. No problems once I got them.

I actually have a lot of fun with the snow tires on.

*side note. We're getting a lot of people on here from the Louisville area. We ought to have some get-togethers so we can be like the Cali guys.

I live in Canada and I DD my z. With blizzak LM60's I've gone through 12 inches of snow. No joke. There was about 6-8 inches of snow packed under the wheels. It's great, but the only problem I had was accelerating onto a steep hill. Still made it though. Get blizzaks and you'll be fine.

i drive mine everyday, even in the snow/ice. get michelin pilot a/s and you won't have an issue. you should see the look on 4x4 truck driver's faces when they get passed by a little yellow Z when there is about 2 inches of snow on the ground lol

I do not own a 370Z, but if I did, I would only drive it on nice days as a DD.

I use mine every day except on the weekends when I take the fam to shop around. We don't get much snow here where I am at in Texas, so I use my summer tires all year round.
