Default Want to see a Grand Am 370Z get built in seven minutes?

We thought you guys might like to see this. We put a camera over the #05 car once it came back from the powder coater, and it took one picture every minute for two and a half weeks as the AM crew hustled to finish it in time for Laguna Seca two weeks ago. The car was finished at about 3 AM the morning on July 7th, and was on track less than eight hours later! This is a video of a miracle in progress! The amount of work that went into this car, as well as the heavy modifications and service being performed on the #04 next to it, is simply off the charts for a less than three weeks!

Nice vid

That's the first time I've noticed your air intake system. What's going on there? Looks like you've eliminated at least the upper portion of the radiator core support, and drawing air over the top of the radiator into your intake boxes? Is there something else going on under the bumper there as well, to split the front grille's air between the radiator and your boxes?

Thanks guys, we wanted to post it up to give people an idea how much work goes into one of these things. We just finished our analysis of the build process, and figured 1400 hours went into this build! For this crew to pull together and get it done on this impacted time frame deserves a medal. Or maybe just a bunch of trophies .

Pretty much spot on! We had a shorter radiator made to allow our airboxes to sit on top of it, and are ducting air to them through the front opening.
