For me anyways, 370 drivers usually wave back, flash their headlights, etc... I think its because there are far fewer 370 drivers and most who buy them are enthusiast. It's kind of like comparing this forum to the 350 forum. Just a slightly different demographic, but it makes a world of a difference.
unfortunatley the 350 demographic will begin to leak into the 370 demographic as the price of used 09's becomes more affordable to a larger group of people.

sucks.

New member here coming over from the G37 forum.

Not only will you see a change in the demographics of the 370 owners on the street, eventually the demographic of the members on the board will change. Radically.

Happened on the G37 board about two years after the car's introduction. What went from educated discussions on modifications and meets turned into a ricer's convention of insults and third grade behavior. Definitely not from the vast majority of the members there, but the board noticably changed. I bet the median age plummeted too. Blame the used car market.

I'm old (53), and had the use of my uncle's 1977 280Z a lot when I was in college. Back then, ALL Z owners either waved or flashed their headlights at each other. Those days are probably long gone. Most people are too consumed playing with their phones.

Face it, you are part of a small minority of the general public who is truly passionate about your car. To most people, it's an appliance, even Z's. Explains bad parking edicate (great thread BTW!), and mostly pathetic driving these days.

You guys are great. Don't lose your passion.

I plan on buying a 2012 Touring Sport Package w Nav (Gun Metal or Black Cherry) sometime next spring once the production lines get cranking again. I hope you guys can keep the faith until then.
