Default Somebody put a glass bottle under my tire...

I'm in the club having a good time, I'm ready to leave so I go to put my car in gear to pull out of the parking spot and all I heard was this terrible crunching sound. At first I thought I had the e-brake on, but my fears were confirmed when I got out of the vehicle and sure enough somebody placed a bottle right under my rear left tire.

It doesn't seem like my tire was damaged, I'll just check it out in the morning. I guess I'd rather replace a tire than a window or get a new paint job. I'm pissed, there's some triflin people out there.

Somebody did that to me when I had my Lancer, but I caught it before hand. Jackasses

It was one of the few times I did the "walk around" they say you should do before you get in your car lol...

I couldn't see last night, but from the looks of it the car pulverized most of the bottle. I'm just getting up so I'm gonna check it now that the sun is up.

Should be fine, but def check it out. Most bottle glass don't stand a chance against tires unless you have a really sharp shard. As long as it didn't hit the sidewalk you should be fine. The contact patch is pretty thick and can take a lot of abuse.

I always do a walkaround upon returning to my car in an unfamiliar area. It's just part of my "movie watcher special agent" training

Destructive and anti-social behavior like this is a pathetic reflection of the state of portions of our society today. Truly sad and also very maddening.

/\ This!

Movie watcher special agent training has gotten me out of numerous spectacularly dangerous situations over the years!

That is why I walk around the car before getting in it if I leave it park for a long time.

I always do a walk-around, because I'm super paranoid of someone keying or door dinging me. I've also watched enough judge judy to know that as soon as you leave the parking lot, any hopes of being compensated are out the window.
