My friend just picked up a silver one and it looks really good in that color. Color really is all down to the person's taste.

Would a car cover work in lieu of a garage? I might still get black if I can keep it clean and presentable (swirl mark free as well). Would a car cover help a lot in the preservation of my black car's shine and cleanliness or would a garage still be needed?

^^ after awhile you'll get fed up of putting the car cover on and off and if dust or little rocks get caught in the covers since it's always outside. it will ruin your car with scratches. Even though i dislike white colour cars, i think White on Black is the best way to go for you..... go for it.
I have a black car and it still has swirls, i park in the garage, as soon as you drive around a bit, swirls just come uninvited....lol.

Ugh! This is extremely difficult. I am sooo torn, its not even funny. They both look sooooo goood. They are both good in their own ways. White is classsy, black is sexxy. There is ALMOST no wrong decision. How would u decide? I did a coin flip and it said to go with black. I had a survey with all my friends and black won 13-7. White still calls to me as much as black does!

no matter what decision you make you're going to end up regretting it. So just choose one and learn from it :D

Either color will look good with the right rims, some window tint.......and 10-12K worth of work under the hood.

I flipped a coin also and Black won.
But i really think you'd be better off with a white Z....

Well statistically black cars get into more accidents than white cars. Me personally, I've been rear ended, t-boned in a black car. No problems on any other. However, there are more white cars than there are black cars. I'm pretty sure i dont have to tell u how hard it is to maintain black also

White looks dope, u can make the top black (i think that looks cool, many disagree saying thats a benz thing). like u said.. black is sexy and white is classy. i'd go sexy or james bond (Platinum Graphite)

Yeah, but white gets more tickets... easier to pick up on the road. That being said the car looks awfully nice in Pearl White.

try finding the car the has the options you want in either color. The decision will most likely be made for you. step up to the plate.

Easier to pick up?

In California, it's not legal for the CHP to use radar unless it's posted. They can use a plane (where posted) or "pace". White cars are more visible/easier for the eye to pick up than darker colors so more attention getting to law enforcement. It used to be that Red was #1 with White at #2, but that was a number of years ago (from traffic school). With more bright colors coming out over the last 10 years or so that may have changed.

I just came back from dealership. I think im gonna go with white. When the dealer pulled the car out and I got a good look of the inside and outside, i was convinced. The white just looks so damn good with the frost interior. Does the frost interior age well? I've heard differently.

Glad to hear that you have pretty much made your decision, but I have to throw in another vote for black anyhow... Of course it is a biased vote, since I went with black. Some said it best regarding the two colors, the black is bad a$$, the white is classy... pick your poison.

they dont really use radar anymore, they use lazer, and can at anytime they want. dead accurate, and harder than ish to fight......

Buy the car yet or what?

i had the same problem, but in the end i chose white for the following reasons:

- it looks as good, if not better, than black
- it's easier to maintain
- it ages better (high frequency washing necessary to keep black looking good will cause the paint to look somewhat dull over time)
- paint chips and blemishes are less visible
- the jdm stylish tail lights make the white Z look even more incredible than it already is, but on an other color they just look stupid imo
- white on white(frost) leather is the classiest s%@t around (although admittedly, the white leather will require more care)

plus, and this is merely an added bonus and didn't really factor into my decision, it's cooler in the summer!

I also went for white because all the blacks i see. The dealer even says that black is the most popular with all the cars they sell. Even more so with the sports car. They just sold a black and are looking for blacks for other customers. They havent even sold one white yet. It looks sexy and isnt *** common. I like them both equally but white wins due to less popularity. The survey i took of my friends choices came out black 13 vs white 7...black won almost double. I am almost certain I made the right choice. Need I say that the white looks beautiful with that frost interior :happydance:
