Default Good Deal?

I have a 2010 fully loaded sport touring coupe with navigation (13000 miles). I am trading her in for a 2011 Jeep Rubicon. The dealer is offering me 27900. But since it's a trade in I get that amount tax deferred towards the Jeep. I know, I know I don't wanna give her up but I need the four seats. And zero percent financing is nice... What do you think???

dont think thats a good deal. try going to a local carmax and see how much they would give for the car. im sure if you sell the car privately you'd get around $32kish.

I agree that you can get it up higher than that... I feel you on needing a 4 door/seater

Don't do it. Too low for your car. For as much as they make off the jeep brand, you should ask for more, but also the dealer needs to move the car. Get at least another 1500.
in michigan, we don't have the trade in tax breaks.

Don't do it! The 2012 Jeep Rubi is getting the pentastar engine with 283+ hp vs 202 hp in the 2011. The 2012's will hit lots in August. Also, if you sign up for the tread lightly program you can get 1%- 2% below invoice depending on dealership without haggling! The TLP is like $50 to join.

edit: $60

Yeap, is a joke but the stealership is not going to lose and is going to offer a lowball trade-in value.

Private sale, CarMax or keep shopping until you get what you want.

it all depends on how much you are getting the jeep for.

I think jeep's reliability is garbage. Why not settle on a Rover if going back to the dealer is no issue? At least you get baller status. If you don't care about that, get a honda fit sport.
