How tall are you guys???

Just asking to see if anyone else has the same concern as I about not being able to fit (or fit comfortably) in the Z34? Perhaps we may have either those that have sat in the car and can report back or some that may be current Z owners and able to share some knowledge??

Thanks in advance...

5'10''
I hope I still have more growth left in me though...
I want to be 6'1''

BanningZ 11-23-2008 01:09 PM

5'7 and made by Ikea. I have to be assembled but I fold comfortably into the trunk of most small cars.

ctzn 11-23-2008 04:05 PM

6'3" 215lbs and I fit perfectly in both the Z33 and Z34, with some space to spare so you should be fine.

You're a big mofo :rofl2: . Z is pretty spacious and I have known some people who bought a Z because they wouldn't fit inside S2000.

Yeah I can't even drive an S2000, way too uncomfortable...

I am in this picture, that's me furthest to the right, looking at the car

Sick dude! There's hope!!! What a relief.... I'm gonna have to sit in another Z33 to see what the heck I was talking about.... its been a while.

370ZINMO 11-23-2008 08:24 PM

6'4" 240 lbs. God I hope I will fit in this car. I can fit in the 350z and G35/37 as long as they don't have sunroofs.

cstr_Cali 11-23-2008 08:28 PM

G35 w/ sunroof is an OK fit for me. The coupe on the other hand feels like it was built for someone smaller than I.

RCZ 11-23-2008 10:15 PM

5'10, the only fitment issues I've ever had was trying to drive while sitting in Bride GIAS. Seriously, they are like child seats...really expensive really cool child seats.

ozzfest 11-24-2008 02:58 PM

I went to the LA auto show on Sunday and they mentionend that they won't be offering power seats because they wanted to accommodate the taller consumer. Because if they added all the electronics for the power seats they would loose valuable headroom.

Even though power seat is nice but I never change my seat settings anyway. I don't let anyone drive my car so it's almost never even moved in my car. So, that doesn't really bother me. NO under seat motor, less weight

Exactly what I was wondering at 6'3. I was pretty bummed when looked at the S2000's as well.

drmike 11-27-2008 07:16 PM

I'm 6' 2" and I am very comfortable in the S2000, so I'm guessing the 370Z will be an easy fit.

Nissan370z 11-27-2008 07:58 PM

6' 0"

shizzawha 11-28-2008 03:57 PM

6'2" and I fit good, can't drive a 6speed roadster though, not enough legroom. My 07 coupe I fit perfectly in. I've never had issues with headroom though, short torso. I do however have to scoot the seat all the way back.

cstr_Cali 01-04-2009 11:20 PM

Soooooooo....

Finally sat in a Z34 last Friday. The interior feels more spacious than the Z33 by sole virtue of the interior design. Headroom is close and legroom is acceptable. Problem is the steering wheel doesn't adjust high enough to accommodate my knees. Therefore the ability to move my left foot off the gas and on the brake and vice versa is compromised. For this reason I'm close to axing the Z34 off my short list of cars. Unfortunately. I'll drive it and afterwards I'll evaluate the possibility, but things aren't looking positive.

LynxFX 01-04-2009 11:53 PM

6' 3", 200lbs. Fit just fine in the Z34. Plenty of leg room but I had to lean the seat back a bit so that my hair wasn't brushing the ceiling.

Turns out that "no power seats" mentioned at the LA Auto show was bogus.

shumby 01-04-2009 11:54 PM

6'1" 210 lbs

trevorluong 01-05-2009 12:02 AM

6'0"

SHIFT_Z 01-05-2009 12:02 AM

a little over 6"1 and i fit w plenty of room

FricFrac 01-05-2009 12:38 AM

6" 170 lbs room to spare in the Z33 so it sounds like the Z34 has a little more room. We're good to go!

diabolus370z 01-05-2009 12:58 AM

6'3" 215lbs here. I actually find that I have just a LITTLE more headroom in my S2000 than I did in the 370Z. However, the S2000 is definitely more cramped for the legs/torso. Overall, I found that the 370 is pretty friendly to us tall people, thanks to the tilting steering wheel, 4-way adjustable seats, etc...

BoostedMKIV 01-05-2009 01:04 AM

Yep.

6'3" here....205lbs.
I had plenty of headroom and legroom in the 350Z.

...the S2000.......not so much.
:icon14:

Educ8r 01-05-2009 11:47 AM

I'm 6' tall and NOT a toothpick and I fit in my 370 just fine.
