Oil Filter Thread Size

Does anyone know the thread size on the 370's oil filter? I believe it is either an 18mm x 1.5 or a 20mm x 1.5.

If anyone knows for sure I would appreciate the information.

Thanks,

It's 20 x 1.5. I got that from the spec sheet for K&N's HP-1008 filter, which fits our car (semtex already installed one).

I'm guessing you're planning an Oil Cooler install... Should be pretty easy..

Thermostatic Sandwich plate here: Sandwich Plate - Mocal Sandwich Plate- 20mm Thread a couple of lines and a Cooler and you're all set. A thermostatic plate doesn't start passing oil to the cooler until it hits 180 degrees and is recommended for the cooler climates.. I'm going to fab my own up soon..

wstar, modshack,

Thanks,

I am waiting on parts. I will be using a Mocal plate with 180 thermostat, 25 row Setrab, and lightweight Aramid fiber 10AN lines. Since I'm doing everything myself I thought I would give myself an upgrade.

I may put thermocouples before/after the cooler. It would be interesting to see the delta.

So can we expect a final write-up on this project? Thanks.

Of course! I was told two weeks for the mix of parts I chose.
